The Misfits Gallery Dept. Sunfade Tee takes the idea of a perfectly curated life and throws it out.

The front stays deliberately restrained: a small MISFITS / NEW YORK chest mark with a star and the words:

Turn it around and everything changes.

An oversized MISFITS graphic dominates the back, layered with inverted GALLERY DEPT. typography, New York references, distressed lettering and irregular composition.

It looks found rather than manufactured.

THE SHIRT IS PART OF THE ART.

This isn't a clean blank with artwork dropped on top.

The garment itself carries the aesthetic.

Made from 100% cotton at 250 GSM / 7.4 oz, it lands in a substantial midweight range while remaining more breathable and easier to wear year-round than the heavier 430 GSM pieces in the collection.

The sunfaded black finish creates tonal variation across the garment while irregular paint splatter and hand-frayed details mean the shirt isn't supposed to look perfectly uniform.

That's what gives it character.

Because of the washed, frayed and paint-splatter treatments, individual garments may have subtle differences in appearance and placement.

Not every premium tee needs to weigh a pound.

At 250 GSM, this piece gives you a substantial cotton feel without the extreme thickness of our heavyweight 430 GSM tees.

That makes it particularly strong as an everyday piece:

FIT & SIZING

The Misfits Gallery Dept. tee is cut with a loose fit and dropped shoulders.

You do not need to automatically size up to achieve the intended relaxed silhouette.

Choose your normal size for the designed loose fit.

For a more exaggerated oversized look, size according to the garment measurements rather than relying solely on your usual size.

Garment Measurements

Chest measurements are taken flat across the garment. Compare these measurements with a favorite tee for the most reliable fit.

The fraying isn't something we forgot to finish.

They're the reason the garment exists.

Due to the specialty sunfade, wash, paint-splatter and fraying processes, each piece can have natural variations in its finished appearance.

Your shirt may not look precisely identical to another one.

We think that's better.

This garment is intentionally distressed, so treat it accordingly.
